This long-running project (1986-2010) was co-directed by Malcolm B. Wallace (University of Toronto), Donald R. Keller (American Center for Oriental Research), Jere M. Wickens (Lawrence University), and Zarko Tankosic (Indiana University Bloomington). It encompassed a number of archaeological techniques, such as survey, excavation, and more, with the aim of studying the previously-ignored Southern Euboea area. Since 1984, SEEP has added over 375 ancient sites to the record, including 163 on the barren Paximadhi peninsula.
