Allyson Glenn, « The Alchemy of Art”

This lecture is held in the context of acclaimed Canadian artist Allyson Glenn’s latest series of works titled “Date with Hermes: Journeying between Dreams and Reality,” on exhibit at the Vorres Museum until June 30^th.

Glenn’s new work is focused on investigations of our entanglements with other humans—identity, migration, societal violence, and climate and war crises; it marks a turning point in her commitment to social issues, an opportunity for the transformative power of the imagination to become a reality.

This marks Glenn’s second solo exhibition; her previous exhibit « Passages » took place in 2019.
